There’s something wrong with the file in the Podcast feed in iTunes…it only plays for about 3 seconds for me and then stops.

Sorry for the problems you’re having!
I’ve heard from others who’ve listened to the entire show, so it must not be a “system-wide” problem. In fact, I just subscribed on my work Mac and am listening to the show as I type this (I’m about 2 mins in).
Try deleting the episode and re-downloading from iTunes OR, maybe easier, redownload the show direct from our site. You’ll see the link above.
