    Hi Mike,
On 450 you spoke of how to make column view as wide as the names needed. Is there any such thing for list view??
Looking forward to seeing you at MacStock,
    John

    • Hi John,

Great question! As far as I know, the answer is no. You can manually adjust the width of the columns within list view by dragging the divider and you can sort by clicking the list view headings, I’m not aware of a way to have list view automatically adjust the widths — but, boy, that would be handy for me!

As you can tell from my reaction to Darren when he suggested that this TinkerTool tweak might get me using Column view, I can’t remember the last time I used Column view, but I use List View all the time!

I’ll forward this over to Darren to see if he knows any differently and ask him to reply here as well.

Thanks and see you at Macstock!
      Mike
